The firm was originally established in 2000 under the name Phyllis A. Norris CPA PC. In 2009, Marty Peterson and Phyllis Norris formed the successor firm of Norris & Peterson LLC. In 2018, we formally changed our name to become M Peterson LLC.

Marty is a certified public accountant in Oregon and formed the firm in 2009 with Phyllis Norris. Marty graduated from California State University Sacramento in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and began his accounting career with a large international firm in California.
Marty has over 28 years of experience in public and private accounting. His areas of practice include taxation, auditing and financial accounting applied to individuals, businesses, retirement plans and nonprofit organizations. In his spare time, Marty enjoys spending time in the outdoors, photography, cycling and music.
Hailing from St. Paul, Minnesota, Aaron moved to the beautiful Rogue Valley in 2014. Aaron is a certified public accountant in Oregon and has a degree in accounting from Hamline University, also located in St. Paul. Aaron areas of practice include accounting, auditing, payroll, and taxation pertaining to individuals, partnerships, corporations, and nonprofit entities. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys spending time with family and reading— his favorite author is Brandon Sanderson.
